Okungbowa Arrested for Alleged Assault on Police Officer

On May 30, 2026, Okungbowa, an ally of Okpebholo, was arrested in Edo State after allegedly assaulting a police officer who was carrying out law enforcement duties along the Upper Sakponba Axis in Ikpoba Okha LGA. The police spokesperson for Edo State, Eno Ikoedem, confirmed the incident and stated that the suspect is currently in police custody and will face charges in court.
