Aniagwu Dismisses Omo-Agege's Threat Allegations

Charles Aniagwu, the Delta State Commissioner for Works and Public Information, responded to allegations made by former Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege, who claimed that he faced credible threats to his life and family from the Delta State Government House in Asaba. Omo-Agege stated that Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori should be held accountable for any harm that may come to him or his family.

In a reaction during an appearance on Arise Television, Aniagwu dismissed Omo-Agege's claims, suggesting that the former Deputy Senate President was seeking media attention due to a lack of campaign ideas. Aniagwu emphasized that Omo-Agege's approach on the first day of his campaign was to make allegations rather than present a campaign blueprint.

He asserted that Governor Oborevwori does not make threats and highlighted the safety and tranquility in Delta State over the past three and a half years.
