Ondo State ODIEC Chairman Decries Low Voter Turnout in Local Government Elections

The Chairman of the Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC), Joseph Aremo, expressed disappointment at the low voter turnout during the local government elections in the state. Aremo described the voter turnout as discouraging and called on political parties to educate and sensitize the populace for upcoming elections.

Despite efforts to ensure a smooth electoral process, the turnout was unsatisfactory. The commission's proactive measures included the early deployment of materials.
