G100 Coalition Aims for Unity Ahead of 2027 Elections

The G100 opposition coalition has expressed its intention to replicate the success of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke's re-election as a model for unity ahead of the 2027 general elections. This coalition formed after Peter, the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, resigned from the previous opposition coalition under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), which included former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

G100 congratulated Adeleke and the people of Osun State for their electoral determination, stating that the election results offer crucial lessons on the necessity of unity and cooperation among opposition parties. In a statement issued in Abuja and signed by Salihu Moh.

Lukman, G100 highlighted that the Osun election demonstrated the potential strength of a united opposition.
