OSSAP-SDGs Launch Police HQ and Healthcare Center in Ogun

On May 11, 2026, OSSAP-SDGs, led by Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs, Princess Adejok Orelop Adefulir, commissioned two significant projects in Ota, Ogun State: a modern 40-bed primary healthcare center and the Ota Central Police Division headquarters. These initiatives are designed to address critical issues of public safety and community health, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 16 and 3.

The police headquarters aims to improve operational efficiency and response to security concerns, while the healthcare center is intended to provide quality services, particularly for vulnerable groups such as women and children. Professor Adeyemi Obalanleg, a local monarch, praised the projects as symbols of progress and dedication to community welfare.

The commissioning event was attended by various government officials and community leaders, highlighting the collaborative effort to enhance local infrastructure and support sustainable development.
