Suspended Workers in Osun Back APC's Oyebamiji

Suspended workers from Osun State, led by Comrade Tirimisiyu Adekunle, the president of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE), have publicly declared their support for Bola Oyebamiji, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the upcoming election. They carried placards with messages such as “OYES for AMBO” and “suspended LG workers for AMBO.” The group criticized the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, claiming it does not tolerate opposition and has engaged in propaganda.

They expressed their belief that Oyebamiji would improve their welfare and restore their positions. The workers emphasized the importance of local government autonomy, commending Bola Ahmed Tinubu for supporting this initiative.

They stated that the majority of those present were either suspended or sacked civil servants and expressed confidence that Oyebamiji would fulfill his promises if elected.
