Osun APC ALGON Distributes Patrol Vehicles for Security

On a Saturday, the Osun APC ALGON, led by Hon. Samuel Abiodun Idowu, distributed additional security patrol vehicles to various security agencies across Osun State.

This initiative is part of a commitment to public safety and reflects the importance of local government autonomy. The event was held at the headquarters of the Osun State Police Command in Osogbo, following an earlier distribution of patrol vehicles a few weeks prior.

Hon. Idowu emphasized that security is foundational for development, stating that without peace and stability, societal progress is hindered.

He linked the distribution of vehicles to the empowerment of local councils to manage resources effectively and address specific security challenges. CP Ibrahim Gotan of the Osun State Police Command acknowledged the support from ALGON and assured that the vehicles would be used strictly for security purposes to safeguard lives and properties in the state.
