Osun APC Rejects Adeleke's Bridge Rehabilitation Plan

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has publicly opposed Governor Ademola Adeleke's proposal to rehabilitate the Olaiya Flyover Bridge in Osogbo, asserting that the bridge is in good shape and does not require any repairs. APC spokesperson Kola Olabisi criticized Adeleke's plan, suggesting it is a deliberate attempt to undermine the achievements of former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, under whose administration the bridge was constructed.

Olabisi emphasized that the rehabilitation proposal is a waste of state resources and urged stakeholders to condemn it. He also mentioned that the bridge was deemed flawless by engineering professionals four years ago.

Additionally, the APC expressed concerns regarding a recent visit from Inspector General of Police Olatunji Disu, where they claimed that Adeleke dismissed allegations against Ibrahim Gotan, who was reportedly hiding behind political protection. The APC accused the governor of mismanagement and politicizing security issues in the state.
