Adeleke Criticizes APC for Destroying Campaign Billboards

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke condemned the All Progressives Congress (APC) for allegedly vandalizing his campaign billboards during a Town Hall meeting for Osun governorship candidates on Tuesday. He challenged the APC to ensure a free, fair, and credible election in the state.

Adeleke argued that the destruction of his billboards backfired, leading to increased public support for him. He questioned the APC's motives, stating, "If you know you can win, why are you destroying my billboards?" He urged his supporters to refrain from retaliating against the APC's actions, emphasizing his peaceful approach as a governor.

Additionally, Adeleke denied allegations of militarization, clarifying that he lacks the authority to mobilize the Armed Forces, stating, “I am not the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces but Mr. President.” He reiterated that he is not responsible for the actions of the military or police forces.
