Adeleke's Wife Urges Peaceful Voting in Osun Election

On Saturday, Ngozi Adeleke, the wife of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, encouraged eligible voters to participate in the ongoing governorship election, emphasizing that voting was peaceful at her polling unit. She assured residents that there was no intimidation and urged those who had not yet voted to head to their polling units, reinforcing that voting is a civic responsibility.

Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is seeking re-election on the Accord Party platform, cast his ballot at Ward 02, Polling Unit 009, Abogunde Compound, Ede North Local Government Area. The election is being conducted across all 30 local government areas in Osun State.

Prior to the election, there were concerns regarding security and alleged intimidation, prompting calls from political actors and civil society groups for a peaceful electoral process. Voting commenced amid the deployment of security personnel throughout the state.
