Over 300 Repentant Terrorists Undergoing Rehabilitation – FG

The Federal Government announced that over 300 repentant terrorists are currently undergoing rehabilitation as part of the Operation Safe Corridor in Gombe State. Adamu Laka, the National Coordinator of the National Counter Terrorism Centre, revealed this information during a stakeholder meeting in Abuja.

The program offers psychosocial support, vocational training, and reintegration assistance to the participants. Laka also mentioned plans to extend similar initiatives to other regions.

Additionally, a new agribusiness project in collaboration with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture will provide land, input training, and market access to vulnerable members of the affected communities. This effort aims to promote livelihood and agricultural opportunities in areas affected by conflict.
