We’ll rehabilitate you, Gov Yusuf tells repentant thugs

Governor Yusuf of an undisclosed state has promised to rehabilitate repentant thugs as part of the Safe Corridor Project. During an interface with cluster leaders and the repentant youth, the governor assured them of support in leaving behind a life of thuggery and antisocial behavior.

He emphasized the importance of providing a safe environment for their rehabilitation and ensuring they are placed in the best-fit programs. The governor also mentioned the unfortunate death of an individual earlier profiled in the program and announced a fresh revalidation exercise to update records.

The initiative aims to address the issue of thuggery and antisocial behavior in the state. Various stakeholders, including the Kano Commandant of the NDLEA and the State Commissioner of Police, have shown support for the fight against drug abuse and thuggery.
