Adegboyega Oyetola Emphasizes System Integrity in Public Institutions at NIWA Retreat

Adegboyega Oyetola, the representative of the Federal Ministry of Blue Economy, highlighted the significance of system integrity in public institutions during a retreat organized by the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) in Nigeria. The retreat theme centered on the role of system integration in driving good leadership, ethical conduct, revenue generation, and contributing to Nigeria's blue economy agenda.

Oyetola stressed the critical nature of system integration for NIWA's success in fulfilling its mandate and urged leveraging technology and public-private partnerships for financial sustainability. The retreat aimed to strengthen NIWA's systems, promote transparency, and instill performance-driven leadership.

ICPC Chairman, Musa Aliyu San, reiterated the organization's readiness to support public institutions in preventing corruption through capacity building and integrity-driven initiatives.
