Adelabu Supporters Demand Release of APC Primary Results

On Thursday, supporters of Adebayo Adelabu protested in Ibadan, Oyo State, demanding the release of results from the APC gubernatorial primary elections. The protesters carried placards with various inscriptions, including calls for the right to vote and the need for credible primary results.

Hajia Bello Bolanle, a member of the party, stated that the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC should release the results to avoid imposing candidates, which could jeopardize the party's chances in the 2027 elections. She appealed to party leaders to announce the results promptly, not just for the gubernatorial primary but for all primary elections in Oyo State.

Bolarinwa Deborah also emphasized that the people of Oyo State should determine the primary election outcomes, asserting that the results are crucial for the community's academic performance and future. The protesters expressed their dissatisfaction with the lack of transparency and demanded that the NWC release the results without delay.
