CPC Leaders Back APC's Alli for Oyo Governorship Race

On a recent visit, leaders from the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) in Oyo State publicly declared their support for Barrister Sharafadeen Alli, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The meeting was hosted by Alhaji Sulaiman Abiodun Oyaremi, the state chairman of the defunct CPC, and attended by notable APC leaders, including Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle and Dr.

Tunji Olanipekun. The gathering involved representatives from thirty-three local government areas in Oyo State, showcasing a broad coalition of support.

Barrister Alli outlined his vision for the development of Oyo State, focusing on educational reforms, agricultural programs, and economic empowerment for women and youth. He also addressed security challenges, including armed robbery and terrorism.

The CPC leaders expressed confidence in Alli's leadership capabilities and unanimously pledged their support for his governorship aspirations, committing to mobilize efforts for APC's success in the upcoming 2027 elections. The meeting concluded with prayers for the continued success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration and the APC.
