Primate Ayodele: Makinde's Candidate Can Win Oyo 2027

Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, expressed that Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde's anointed candidate for the 2027 governorship election, Bimbo Adekanbi, has a strong chance of winning if Makinde dedicates himself to the campaign. In a video, Ayodele emphasized that Adekanbi has an advantage over other aspirants but cautioned that the election should not be taken lightly.

He urged Makinde to focus on the governorship election instead of his presidential ambitions, stating that it is crucial for him to ensure a smooth succession in Oyo State. Ayodele also predicted challenges for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Alli Sharafadeen, suggesting that internal opposition within the APC could undermine his chances.

He noted that even members of Sharafadeen's party might not support him, highlighting potential issues with party unity. The Oyo state governorship election is anticipated to be a significant political contest leading up to the 2027 general elections.
