Oyo NDC Chair Akinlolu Calls for Unity Ahead of 2027 Elections

On Friday, Mr. Oyeronk Akinlolu, the Oyo State Nigeria Democratic Congress chairman, rallied party members to work towards unseating the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2027 general elections.

He stressed the need for unity and commitment among party members to ensure a landslide victory. Akinlolu highlighted the importance of having a valid Permanent Voter Card (PVC) for participation in the elections and called for coordinated efforts to demonstrate the party's machinery.

He mentioned several candidates for various positions, including Akeem Ademola Yusuf for governorship, Pastor Abigail Olanik Ojekunl for Oyo North Senatorial District, and Dr. Paul Och Ado for Oyo South Senatorial District.

Akinlolu also addressed the need for improved security, job creation, and social infrastructure in Oyo State, emphasizing the party's commitment to addressing youth unemployment and economic hardship. The party aims to present a robust platform to the electorate by May 29, 2027.
