PASNAFOSA Mourns Major General Rabe Abubakar's Death

PASNAFOSA has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Major General Rabe Abubakar, a retired former director of defense information, who reportedly succumbed to complications arising from diabetes and hypertension during his captivity after being abducted alongside his wife in Matazu Local Government Area, Katsina State. In a strong-worded press release, Ambassador Mari Abayomi Fatil called for prayer support for the Nigerian Armed Forces and security agencies.

PASNAFOSA condemned the circumstances leading to the death of the distinguished military officer, who dedicated a significant part of his life to the defense and protection of Nigeria and its people. The organization emphasized that his death is a profound loss not only to his immediate family but also to the Nigerian Armed Forces and the nation as a whole.

Furthermore, PASNAFOSA reiterated its long-standing position against granting amnesty to so-called repentant terrorists without adequate accountability, particularly in light of recent efforts to reintegrate former Boko Haram members into communities.
