Hakeem Effect Discusses Set Clash and Spiritual Attack

Hakeem Onilogbo, popularly known as Hakeem Effect, discussed a clash on actor Lateef Adedimeji's film set during an interview on Oyinmomo TV published on August 26, 2026. He clarified that the conflict arose from crew members he hired demanding higher pay, citing that Lateef's productions usually commanded larger fees.

Hakeem maintained that the rate he proposed was valid since the crew was engaged through him. Additionally, he recounted a serious spiritual attack he experienced early in his career while working in Southeastern Nigeria, which he described as a deliberate attempt to disrupt his work.

Hakeem's journey began in 1996 when he left home and faced homelessness in Lagos. Lacking formal training, he developed his skills through self-teaching and spiritual guidance.

He founded Trickz International, now employing over 30 staff and managing multi-million-naira production budgets, earning multiple AMVCA awards. His father's eventual acknowledgment of his success marked a significant personal vindication for Hakeem.
