PDP Suspends Bode George for Alleged Anti-Party Activities

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State has suspended Bode George, the former Deputy National Chairman of the party, due to alleged anti-party activities. The decision was made by the disciplinary committee, chaired by Elder Kayode Ogunbiyi, and was announced in a statement on Friday.

The committee noted that the action was necessary following repeated conduct by George that could potentially cause disaffection within the party. The committee's resolution was reached during a meeting held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

The statement also mentioned that the committee would revisit previous disciplinary actions taken against George. Furthermore, the committee warned that legal action would be pursued against any suspended member who continues to act contrary to the interests of the PDP in Lagos State.
