Lamido Advocates for PDP Unity and Leadership Reinstatement

Sule Lamido, the former governor of Jigawa State and a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), stated that the PDP has the right to reintegrate prominent leaders such as Atiku Abubakar, Olusegun Obasanjo, and Goodluck Jonathan into the party. He warned that failure to reconcile within the party could diminish its historical legacy.

Lamido called on party stakeholders to prioritize unity over rivalry, stressing that Nigeria's broader challenges require a stronger coordinated opposition voice. He made these remarks in a statement, highlighting the need for the PDP to focus on its progress against other political entities like the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
