PDP Denounces Fake Campaign Posters for Jonathan's 2027 Bid

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has raised concerns regarding the circulation of fake campaign posters depicting former President Goodluck Jonathan as a candidate for the 2027 presidential election. PDP's Secretary, Ini Ememobong, issued a statement urging the public to ignore these posters, which he described as misleading and not authorized by the party.

Ememobong emphasized that Jonathan remains a bona fide and fully committed member of the PDP. He also reminded the public that double registration is prohibited under the Electoral Act, warning that those responsible for spreading these fake posters could face penalties.
