ActionAid Nigeria Calls for Gbajabiamila's Suspension

ActionAid Nigeria has demanded the suspension of Femi Gbajabiamila, who serves as Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, in light of the PFIPC scandal. Andrew Mamedu, the Country Director of ActionAid Nigeria, made this call during a television interview on Tuesday.

He described the president's decision to exonerate Gbajabiamila as a significant mistake and emphasized the need for an investigation into the allegations. Mamedu highlighted serious concerns regarding the scandal, including the release of 300 staff and the opening of 40 bank accounts by officials, which raises questions about potential misconduct.

He urged that Gbajabiamila should step aside to allow for a thorough investigation, depending on the level of involvement established in the ongoing issues.
