Wike Takes Vacation After 30 Days of Project Inaugurations

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has embarked on a vacation following an extensive period of over 30 days dedicated to commissioning projects, flagging off new initiatives, and inspecting ongoing projects across the Federal Capital Territory. Lere Olayinka, Wike's Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and social media, shared this information in a post on X on Monday.

Olayinka indicated that Wike is currently relaxing and reviewing several projects, particularly those set for commissioning in December 2023 and January 2024. Since his appointment by President Bola Tinubu in August 2023, Wike has focused on road construction, infrastructure rehabilitation, public facility expansion, and the development of satellite towns within the FCT.

This vacation follows a series of official engagements aimed at advancing infrastructure projects in Abuja, which are expected to be completed and commissioned in the upcoming months.
