ADC Warns Solomon Dalung Against Party Interference

The Plateau State Working Committee of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) issued a warning to former Minister of Youth and Sport, Mr. Solomon Dalung, to refrain from interfering with the party's constitutional structures. During a press briefing, state chairman Dung Dawang Pam addressed ongoing political tensions, where attempts were made to replace the party's gubernatorial candidate, Brigadier General John Sura (rtd).

Pam stated that the party uncovered a plot to sabotage its efforts and cautioned individuals undermining the party's legitimacy. He emphasized that anyone violating the party's constitution would face disciplinary measures.

Pam urged Dalung to focus on his political aspirations rather than creating distractions. He confirmed that attempts to substitute Sura have been thwarted and reiterated the ADC's commitment to building a credible political movement for the 2027 general elections.

The leadership has also visited the National Headquarters in Abuja to defend the outcome of the governorship primary election. Attempts to contact Dalung were unsuccessful.
