Ijebu Seeks Forgiveness After Ogogo's Passing

Olatayo Amokade, popularly known as Ijebu, made an emotional appeal for forgiveness from his family, friends, colleagues, and associates on Monday, following the death of veteran Yoruba actor Taiwo Hassan, known as Ogogo. Ogogo passed away on Sunday at the age of 66 after a battle with cancer.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, Ijebu expressed that Ogogo's death prompted him to reflect on the fleeting nature of life and the importance of resolving conflicts. He mentioned being awake since 6 am due to the emotional weight he felt.

Ijebu specifically asked for forgiveness from his seniors, colleagues, workers, and younger actors, acknowledging his shortcomings. He emphasized the need to let go of grievances and reconcile with those who may have wronged him, stating that carrying resentment is unnecessary given life's uncertainties.

Ijebu concluded by urging people to stop holding grudges, as life is too short and material possessions cannot be taken with them after death.
