Ten Arrested in Connection with MACBAN Chairman's Murder

The Benue Police Command announced the arrest of ten suspects linked to the killing of the MACBAN chairman, who was murdered on Friday along Okwudu Okpachenyi rural road in Otukpo Local Government Area. The arrests occurred on Saturday night as a result of a coordinated intelligence-led operation executed by the tactical team of the Otukpo LGA police.

The suspects, identified as Titu Thyodenda (25), Utib Sam (20), Owoicho Ameh (18), Sundai Useni (21), Sundai Ogbanj (46), Daniel Raphael (23), Adokol John (24), Samuel Ogazi (32), Agbo Daniel (25), and Onazi Jame (30), were apprehended following intensive intelligence gathering. State Commissioner of Police Cletu Nwadiogbu commended the tactical team for their swift response and professionalism in the investigation.

The police reiterated their commitment to ensuring that all individuals found culpable are brought to justice and appealed to residents to remain calm and cooperate with security agencies during the ongoing investigation.
