Seven Arrested for Killing Benue MACBAN Chairman

The Benue State Police Command arrested seven additional suspects related to the killing of Alhaji Risku Moh, the state chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, who was murdered on June 26. The incident occurred after Moh attended a peace meeting in Ohinmini Local Government Area.

His friend, Yakubu Isah, was also killed nearby. The police spokesperson, DSP Udem Edet, announced the arrests on Saturday, stating that the suspects were apprehended following sustained intelligence gathering and thorough investigations.

The arrested individuals include Chief Morgan Ejaga (43), Chief Mose Anteyi (45), Chief John Ogli (58), Chief Yawuhu Adaji (49), Sylvest Ajony (80), Aba Alex Uloko (59), and Fide Iduma (45). CP Cletu Nwadiogbu commended the investigative team for their efforts and assured the public that justice would be served, urging them to remain calm and support the police in their ongoing investigations.
