Police Investigate Killing of Benue MACBAN Chairman

The Benue State Police Command has initiated an investigation into the killing of Ardo Rabo Moham, the Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in the state. The incident occurred on Friday when Moham was reportedly attacked by unknown assailants while returning from a security meeting along Okwudu Ogoli Road in Otukpo Local Government Area.

The police, through their Public Relations Officer, DSP Udem Edet, expressed deep concern over the incident and extended condolences to the family of the deceased. The Commissioner of Police, CP Cletu C.N.

Nwadiogbu, condemned the attack as a senseless criminal act capable of undermining ongoing peace and security efforts in the state. He assured residents that the command has commenced a full-scale investigation to identify, apprehend, and prosecute those responsible for the attack.

The police urged the public to remain calm and avoid taking the law into their own hands while also warning against spreading unverified information that could escalate tensions.
