Police Arrest Six for Alleged Drug Sales in Delta State

The Delta State Police Command arrested six individuals, including a 15-year-old female juvenile, during a crackdown on the sale and distribution of illicit drugs. The operation was conducted on Alegwe Street, off Owa Road, Agbor, based on credible intelligence.

The arrested suspects are Anabel Haruna, 18; Terhemen Faith, 19; Kaityo Abigail, 23; Iorkee Eunice, 26; Osomuri Emmanuel, 31; and the minor. A search of a vehicle linked to the suspects resulted in the recovery of large quantities of Tramadol, Rohypnol, and other suspected illicit substances.

Police spokesperson Bright Edafe confirmed that the suspects and the recovered exhibits are currently in police custody. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend additional accomplices, and Edafe assured that the suspects would be charged in court once the investigation is completed.
