Gombe Police Arrest Robbery Suspect, Recover Stolen Car

The Gombe State Police Command arrested robbery suspect Micah Nuhu, who allegedly attacked a woman identified as Mama Kingslei Joseph, stealing her purse. The incident led to the victim being taken to a cottage hospital in Bambam for medical attention.

The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation. Efforts are ongoing to arrest Nuhu's accomplices, one of whom has been identified as Mubarak Abdullahi.

Additionally, the police arrested two men, Nasiru Aminu (40) and Jamiu Muhammad (33), at a hideout in the Tumfur area of Akko Local Government Area. The suspects were found with a 39 master key and a screwdriver, believed to be tools used for housebreaking.

The police also recovered a Toyota Yaris, which was reported stolen from its owner, Sani Ahm, who was allegedly attacked and stabbed by the suspects near Tumu Kasher Junction. The investigation into these incidents is ongoing.
