Ondo Police Arrest Two Suspects in Kidnapping Case

The Ondo State Police Command announced the arrest of two men allegedly linked to a kidnapping syndicate in Molege, Owo Local Government Area, Ondo State. The arrests were made in connection with the kidnapping of Abubakar Abdullahim, which occurred on August 1, 2026.

The police statement, issued by the Public Relations Officer, DSP Abayomi Jimoh, indicated that the suspects had been terrorizing local communities. The arrests were the result of sustained intelligence gathering and coordinated efforts by the command’s Anti-Kidnapping Squad based in Akure.

Following credible intelligence, operatives traveled to Oyo State, where they collaborated with the Oyo State Police Command to apprehend one of the suspects, Adamu Rabiu, in Ibadan.
