Nigerian Police Foil Robbery Gang, Recover Stolen Car and Arms in Uyo

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command successfully disrupted a suspected robbery gang in Uyo, Nigeria, recovering a stolen vehicle and various arms during a routine patrol. The operation, led by DSP Timfon John, resulted in the recovery of two local-made pistols, live cartridges, phones, machetes, and other items.

The police impounded the suspect's vehicle and initiated an ongoing investigation under the directive of CP Baba Moham Azar. Residents are urged to provide credible information to support security efforts.

The command's intensified night patrol strategy has led to several arrests and recoveries across the state.
