Anambra Police Arrest Man for Impregnating 15-Year-Old

The Anambra State Police Command arrested Tochukwu Nwora for allegedly defiling and impregnating a 15-year-old girl in Achalla, Awka North Local Government Area. The arrest was disclosed by police spokesman Tochukwu Ikenga on a Friday statement.

The victim reportedly faced repeated sexual exploitation by several adult males over time. The police action followed intelligence gathered regarding youth involvement with crystal methamphetamine, known locally as mkpuru mmiri.

During the operation, the 15-year-old girl, who was heavily pregnant, was rescued, and Nwora was arrested for allegedly exploiting the minor. Preliminary investigations indicated that the victim was repeatedly defiled by different adult males, and the police are further investigating to determine if any parents or guardians may be culpable in facilitating the abuse.

The victim has been taken to a police hospital in Awka for necessary medical examinations. The police command condemned the exploitation of minors and reassured the public of their commitment to protecting vulnerable individuals.
