Ogun Police Arrest 43 Suspects in Criminal Hideout Raid

The Ogun State Police Command conducted a successful operation that led to the arrest of 43 suspects in Isheri Olofin, targeting criminal hideouts known for gang-related activities. The operation was executed under the command of DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi and was a response to credible intelligence regarding notorious criminal spots along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, opposite the Kara Cattle Market.

The raid was part of a broader initiative to dismantle criminal networks and enhance public safety across Ogun State. During the operation, various items were recovered, including substances suspected to be Indian hemp, hard drugs, ten mobile phones, four power banks, and two ATM cards.

Following the arrests, the suspects were charged in court and remanded in appropriate correctional facilities for prosecution. CP Bode Ojaijuni commended the professionalism and resilience of the police team, emphasizing the commitment to continue identifying and dismantling criminal enclaves in the state.
