Police Recover Body of Federal University Kashere Student

The Gombe State Police Command reported the recovery of the body of Enoch Sunday Maisamari, a 28-year-old student at the Federal University Kashere, from stagnant water in Sabon Garin Yero Village, Akko Local Government Area. The incident was reported to the police on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at approximately 9:30 a.m.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Buhari Abdullahi, the deceased was found motionless and was subsequently taken to the General Hospital in Kashere, where medical personnel confirmed his death. There were no visible marks of violence on his body.

The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death and have urged the public to remain calm as they continue their inquiries.
