Police Rescue Motorist from Mob After Abuja Crash

On Sunday, a road traffic accident in Karsana District, Abuja, led to a mob action against a motorist. The police in the Federal Capital Territory responded swiftly to the situation, rescuing the motorist from the mob and ensuring their safety.

Following the incident, normalcy was restored in the area. CSP Ani Iniedu, the Force Public Relations Officer, provided updates on the event, confirming the police's prompt action.

The State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) has initiated an investigation into the incident to understand the circumstances surrounding the mob action. Additionally, in a separate operation on Monday, police operatives arrested three suspected vandals who were allegedly destroying public infrastructure along 3 Constitution Avenue, Abuja.

These suspects were apprehended during a disguised patrol while conducting surveillance in the area and are currently in custody for further investigation.
