POWA President Receives Traditional Title in Minna

Chief Mrs. Mutiat Olufunmilola Disu, the National President of the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA), received the traditional title of Jauharar Minna Emirate (Precious Daughter of the Minna Emirate) on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

This honor was conferred during a courtesy visit to the palace of the Emir of Minna, recognizing her humanitarian service and dedication to the welfare of police officers’ families across Nigeria. The Emirate praised Mrs.

Disu for her compassion, visionary leadership, and commitment to empowering women, supporting widows, promoting healthcare, expanding educational opportunities, and enhancing the well-being of police families. The traditional council acknowledged her selfless service, which has positively impacted many lives, making her deserving of this distinguished honor.
