Tragic Death of Three Siblings on Ondo Farm Investigated

On September 5, 2026, the lifeless bodies of three siblings—Joshua Jonah (11), Jacob Jonah (11), and Blessing Jonah (5)—were discovered on their father Mr. Samuel Jonah's farm in Oke Ogba, Akure, Ondo State. The children had accompanied their father to the farm on September 4 but left for home while he continued working.

When Mr. Jonah returned home and did not find them, a search was initiated. Their bodies were located near a stream on the farm the following day.

DSP Abayomi Jimoh, the Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident and stated that the Ondo State Police Command had begun an investigation to determine the cause of the children's deaths. The bodies were taken by their father for burial, and the police are in the process of documenting the incident.
