Northern Governor Zulum Backs Tinubu's 2027 Reelection

Zulum revealed that Northern leaders have reached a political agreement to support Tinubu's reelection in 2027, contingent on the return of power to the North afterward.

He emphasized the importance of this arrangement for fostering unity and maintaining peaceful relations between the North and South. Zulum noted that Northern leaders had previously benefited from power and had established a framework of mutual support with their Southern counterparts.

He called for the North to allow the South to complete its tenure while focusing on its political future. Zulum also highlighted discussions among Northern elites regarding security, education, and poverty alleviation, and he underscored the significant role women play in peace-building efforts, urging them to promote unity in their communities.
