PRP Accuses Kwankwaso of Misappropriating 69 Nomination Forms

The People's Redemption Party (PRP) has publicly accused Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, a member of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), of taking possession of 69 nomination forms meant for aspirants contesting various offices in Kano State. Abdulkadir Musa Guza, the PRP chairman in Kano State, expressed concerns during a press briefing held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) press center in Kano.

Guza stated that the situation has created confusion among party aspirants, as many had already paid for their forms. He noted that Kwankwaso's actions raised suspicions regarding his intentions, especially since there has been no formal declaration of a defection from the party.

Guza warned that the PRP would not hesitate to pursue legal action if the forms are not returned by the INEC submission deadline. He emphasized that the issue goes beyond internal party politics and affects the future of numerous aspirants seeking to contest elections under the PRP platform.
