Osun Government Denies APC's Claims on Road Construction

The Osun State government, represented by Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, issued a statement clarifying that a road located at Mukoro, Ile Ife, was incorrectly attributed to the Oyetola administration in a recent publication. Alimi emphasized that the road was not in Modakeke as claimed and provided GPS coordinates for verification.

He stated that the Adeleke Administration has ongoing projects in Ife and Modakeke, but the road in question is not one of them and has not been marked for development. Alimi accused the APC of spreading misinformation and described the claims as "fake news." He asserted that the Adeleke administration is actively engaged in remediation and corrective work on various projects inherited from the Oyetola administration, countering the APC's attempts to shift blame onto the current government.
