South Sudan Celebrates Rainfall After Fufeyin's Prayers

On September 5, 2026, Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin visited Juba, South Sudan, where residents sought prayers due to severe drought conditions that had lasted for three to four months, damaging crops and threatening food security. Fufeyin held the South Sudanese flag during the gathering and expressed faith in God's ability to intervene.

Following his public prayers on September 6, videos showed dark clouds gathering over Juba, and by September 7, rainfall was reported, marking the first significant precipitation in months. Community members, including Captain Ami, noted the dire impact of the drought on agriculture, with some claiming Juba had not seen rain for "three months and 14 days." Residents celebrated the rainfall as an answered prayer, expressing gratitude to God.

Fufeyin, however, attributed the event to divine power rather than his own influence.
