Sowore Claims President Tinubu Hospitalized in France

Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate for the African Action Congress, has alleged that President Bola Tinubu is currently hospitalized and undergoing treatment in France. This claim arises from Tinubu's extended absence from Nigeria following an official three-week vacation abroad.

During an interview on Arise Television’s Prime Time, Sowore stated that some of Tinubu's public appearances were staged to mask a serious medical condition. He drew comparisons to the situations of late former Presidents Muhammadu Buhari and Umaru Yar’Adua, suggesting that similar tactics were used during their health crises.

Sowore remarked, “Reliable sources have said Tinubu is undergoing treatment in France,” and expressed uncertainty about the specific ailment, noting the lack of details regarding his discharge from the hospital.
