FG Approves N24.7bn for Kabba-Ifaki-Ado Ekiti Road

Hon. Salman Idri, representing the Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the approval of a N24.7 billion contract aimed at rehabilitating the Kabba-Ifaki-Ado Ekiti road.

This approval followed a motion sponsored by Idri in the House of Representatives on October 16, 2025, highlighting the urgent need for repairs on the road, which is crucial for socio-economic activities. The motion drew attention to the road's strategic importance as a major transport corridor connecting Kogi, Ekiti, Ondo, and Osun states.

Despite its significance, the road has remained largely impassable for several years. Idri acknowledged the efforts of Kogi State Governor Ahmadu Usman Ododo in keeping the project on the federal agenda and thanked Hon.

James Abiodun Faleke for his support. The rehabilitation is expected to alleviate hardships for motorists, commuters, farmers, and traders, enhancing road safety and commercial activities along the route.
