Ejiofor Warns Against Criminal Activities in South East

Rights lawyer Ifeanyi Ejiofor, who serves as the lead counsel for the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), issued a warning against criminal elements in the South East, stating that they jeopardize the region's legitimate aspirations for self-determination. In a statement titled "South East Bleed Again," Ejiofor highlighted the dangers posed by these criminal enterprises, which he claims exploit the struggle for liberation.

He referenced a disturbing video that allegedly shows certain criminal elements issuing threats in Alaigbo, particularly in the Umulolo and Arondizuogu communities. Ejiofor criticized the attempts to label IPOB members as criminals indiscriminately and stressed that the ongoing violence and intimidation must be addressed.

He called for a collective civic response to combat the rise of insecurity, urging the public to remain vigilant against manipulation and propaganda that could undermine their cause for peace and safety in the region.
