Salako Enters Kwara Guber Race, Promises Security Focus

Dr. Azeez Muhydeen Salako has officially joined the Kwara State gubernatorial race, presenting his letter of intent to the state chairman of the Progressive Congress APC, Princ Sundai Fagbemi.

Salako, who is contesting for the first time, expressed confidence in his ability to secure the party's consensus candidacy. He highlighted the pressing issue of insecurity in the state, noting that it is a growing threat affecting the entire country.

Salako acknowledged the developmental strides made by the current governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, but emphasized the need for improvements in security, infrastructure, and poverty alleviation. He aims to enhance connectivity between rural areas and the state capital, ensuring better access to essential services.

Fagbemi congratulated Salako for his courage in entering the race and encouraged a focus on issues rather than personal attacks within the party.
