Dino Melaye Critiques APC Over INEC's ADC Decision

Dino Melaye, a former senator representing Kogi West, condemned the All Progressives Congress (APC) in response to the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) announcement that it would suspend recognition of a faction within the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Melaye characterized the APC's actions as "satanic" and "wicked," alleging that the party is attempting to turn Nigeria into a one-party state amid recent political realignments involving figures such as Rabiu Kwankwaso.

He expressed that the APC's "nefarious tendencies" would be revealed through the resistance of opposition figures. The INEC's decision also involved the removal of names like David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola from its official portal as national chairman and national secretary of the ADC, respectively.

Nafiu Bala Gomb is seeking a court declaration to affirm his position as the national chairman. The INEC has stated it will refrain from monitoring the ADC's convention until a final determination is made by the Federal High Court regarding the factional dispute.
