Lagos Replaces Faulty Streetlights to Boost Security

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has initiated the replacement of faulty streetlights on major highways to enhance security within the state. The governor made this announcement via his Facebook page, stating that the installation of new streetlights is part of a broader project aimed at improving visibility and security for residents, especially during late-night and early-morning travel.

The governor noted that the project is progressing well, with installation work already carried out in several areas across both the mainland and island parts of Lagos. He emphasized that improved street lighting will help residents move around safely and strengthen security along key transport corridors.
