2026 Southern Kaduna Festival to Feature Shettima, Obasanjo

The Southern Kaduna Leadership Council announced that the 2026 Southern Kaduna festival will be held from May 28 to May 30, 2026, at the Kafanchan Township Stadium in Jema Local Government Area, Kaduna State. Vice President Kashim Shettima will attend as a special guest, while former President Olusegun Obasanjo will serve as the guest of honor.

The festival, which debuted in 2023, aims to embrace diversity and build bridges among communities, reflecting efforts to strengthen inter-ethnic and inter-religious relations. The theme for the 2026 edition is focused on promoting dialogue and building economic and social partnerships across Southern Kaduna.

The previous festival in 2024 emphasized preserving heritage and igniting progress by highlighting the region's cultural heritage and investment potential.
